About Sophia
Sophia Ogiso is an entrepreneur, designer, and creative thinker. With almost two decades of diverse experiences in industrial and architectural design, product development and innovation, she intimately understands what it takes to bring an idea from concept through to commercialization, always while putting the customer needs first. Sophia is passionate about engaging women in technology and finding unique ways to create valuable, interdisciplinary teams.
Sophia currently works as an architectural designer at CannonDesign and is also pursuing her Masters of Architecture. Throughout her career, Sophia has been part of innovation teams, worked in a variety of design roles with both emerging and global companies, and also founded and led a retail tech company where she co-invented and commercialized a patented system of bra support for the D+ market. She has been recognized in multiple publications, including Forbes, Inc. magazine, Pittsburgh Business Times, and The Today Show. Sophia lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and two children.
